New Larks Live CD!

I am thrilled to announce that The Larks will release a new live album next week. The music was recorded last year at Dogfish Head during the Rehoboth Jazz Festival. The release party will take place at The Cultured Pearl,Thursday Oct 13th, during this year's Rehoboth Jazz Festival.

The music on this new record captures the essence of what The Larks experience is all about. The energy in the room that night was electric and it translates well on to the recording. The highlight of the recording is a more than 18 minute jam of the Curtis Mayfield anthem "Pusher Man" into the Herbie Hancock funk classic "Cantaloupe Island."

The CD contains nearly 79 minutes worth of music and three additional bonus tracks which didn't fit on the original album will be offered as downloads.
